We are a local, independent bespoke cake business based in St Albans, Hertfordshire and created by Lucy.
Created in 2010 after Lucy left university and was trying to find her place in the world, she found her passion at the bottom of a cake mixer.
Starting in her mum’s kitchen, she quickly ran out of space (and her mum’s patience!) and converted a room into a kitchen after winning the University of Hertfordshire’s FLARE Business Award.
We now have a fully equipped kitchen in Porters Wood and a small, but mighty, team who bake fresh to order every day using only the finest ingredients. From local, free range eggs and dairy to Belgian cocoa and chocolate, we only use the best. Our recipes have been created by Lucy and our team over the years and we continue to create new bakes every day.
We make everything by hand and in small batches to maintain the high quality bakes
Heaven is a Cupcake is known for. We may be a small business but we pride ourselves on making the best cakes in Hertfordshire and have many awards to back us up!
